Following Willie as he marched through Dublin airport on Saturday morning, with his trilby on his head, his binoculars over his shoulder and his big green jacket on, was like seeing Crocodile Dundee marching down Fifth Avenue. He stuck out a little.
Americans practically pointed, plenty of other tourists looked on after him with wonder, but a few natives nudged their fellow travellers. He didn’t stop. He was only going one way, forward. Always forward.
