Life lessons and luminous cocktails as Doncaster provides some much-needed perspective

Perspective is everything. Never more so than in Doncaster.
I don’t want to bag the South Yorkshire city unfairly. Or fairly for that matter. And I am tempted, not least because the welcoming committee of waifs and strays at the train station always give me a funny look when I arrive. Unfortunately Doncaster isn’t unique in that regard. It’s not you Doncaster, it’s me. Apparently.
Anyway, the sales scene is a rich tapestry, and Doncaster just happens to be at the no frills end of the spectrum. And that’s fine by me: the no frills sales correspondent. Ahem.
